At this year’s MIXX Awards Europe 2025, iPROM and its partners received three silver awards for projects carried out in collaboration with Fraport Slovenija, SPAR Slovenija, and Kotányi Slovenija, as well as the Retoba laboratory. The awarded projects – Ljubljana Airport FLY 2.0, SPAR Tailormade and Kotányi AI Chef – showcase advanced applications of first-party data, artificial intelligence methods and technologically independent advertising solutions.

The MIXX Awards Europe, organised under the umbrella of IAB Europe, are regarded as one of the leading European showcases of best practices in digital advertising. This year, the international jury presented awards across twenty-two categories, with a particular focus on solutions that enable long-term stability in an era of rapid technological transformation. The 2025 theme – Future-Proof Creativity – highlighted projects grounded in verifiable data models and innovations that support the sustainable growth of advertising ecosystems.
Awarded projects in predictive analytics, retail media and next-generation technological activations powered by artificial intelligence
The silver award in the Predictive Analytics & Audience Intelligence category was awarded to the Ljubljana Airport FLY 2.0 advertising platform and retail media network, developed by iPROM in collaboration with Fraport Slovenija. Enhanced with reinforcement learning, which uses first-party data, passenger behavioural signals and actual flight ticket sales, the platform automatically optimise the digital advertising infrastructure. The system segments users in real time according to travel intent, adjusts media budget allocation, and selects the best-performing creative solutions. This enables autonomous campaign management, advertising in verified media environments, and more precise targeting of potential travellers, while ensuring full data ownership for Fraport Slovenija.
In the Retail & Commerce Media category, the silver award was presented to SPAR Tailormade, an intelligent advertising system developed by iPROM in partnership with SPAR Slovenija. The solution is designed to deliver more relevant and timely offers to customers and is based on the integration of online and offline purchase data from the loyalty programme, CRM system, and online store. The platform enables the formation of microsegments based on user behavioural patterns, which SPAR Slovenija applies to targeted media buying and personalised online advertising using its own data infrastructure. SPAR Tailormade is built on iPROM Private DMP, whose primary function is to stimulate purchases in physical shops.
In the Next Gen Tech Activation Campaign category, the jury awarded the silver award to the Kotányi AI Chef project, created by the Retoba laboratory in cooperation with Kotányi Slovenija. The solution introduces conversational marketing based on a combination of conversational AI, intent analysis, and proprietary brand content. The platform deployed a virtual culinary ambassador that drives emotional engagement with users through personalised interactions, gathers in-depth feedback via Retoba PulseDialog technology, and supports the development of innovative products. The system operates as a conversational interface connected to an extensive recipe and product database, offering users personalised suggestions, step-by-step guidance, and inspiration. It demonstrates how advanced artificial intelligence can transform the user experience and unlock new pathways for brand growth.
Upon receiving the awards, Simon Cetin, Partner at iPROM and founder and head of the Retoba laboratory, emphasised that the recognition validates the company’s strategic direction in recent years: building solutions on first-party data, ensuring technological independence, and promoting the responsible use of artificial intelligence. He highlighted that this foundation is essential for the stable functioning of advertising ecosystems, which must remain predictable and measurable amid rapid technological change.
He also noted that the achievements stem from partnerships in which clients actively participate in the development of solutions and share the ambition of creating long-term value.
“Such collaborations enable technology to transcend a merely supportive role and become an actual catalyst for growth. The awards confirm that through innovations based on verifiable data models, we can deliver results that are both tangible and enduring,” he added.
